Flat glass skylights can be installed on both flat and sloped roofs. For installation on a flat roof, first a skylight curb must be built.
The skylight curb will need to be built angled as flat skylights can not be installed flat in our climate. Build up of snow will weaken the structure and create possible issues.
Skylights installed on a curb are called "Curb Mounted Skylights". An angled curb can accommodate flat glass skylights, however most flat glass skylights are installed on sloped roofs.
Sloped roof flat glass skylights are called "Self Flashing Skylights".
All of our flat glass skylights are available with different frame finishings, and can be stationary or opening skylights. Our flat glass venting skylights are available with manual and electric opening options.
